Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced a significant investment in a rapid transit project for the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area that will improve public transit and support the regional economy. The Region’s plan, when completed, will include a new light rail rapid transit system between the cities of Waterloo and Kitchener, connecting Conestoga Mall to Fairview Park Mall.
